Hi, I’m Michelle.

My Approach

I’m a Licensed Therapist who specializes in trauma, life transitions, anxiety, and identity issues. I am most passionate about helping people to heal and strengthen their relationships to self and others. This often involves helping people to heal, exploring identity/beliefs/values, overcoming obstacles, creating healthy boundaries, learning new ways of thinking or interacting, and obtaining clarity on goals.

I believe the therapeutic relationship is a crucial aspect of the healing process because it creates an atmosphere of safety, compassion, trust, and empowerment. This becomes the foundation that we build on with evidence-based interventions. I regularly utilize EMDR, cognitive behavioral therapy, and narrative therapy. I also incorporate techniques from DBT, family systems theory, attachment theory, and somatic experiencing. Everyone comes with a unique experience and I cater treatment to each person’s individual needs. I strive to create a space where everyone has the safety to heal, explore, and pursue positive change.
